Whats New In Version 1.1.0.5 -DHCP Support / IP Address change support Many networks are designed to dynamically provide Internet Protocol (IP) address to the workstation. Emprise Time Zone Server Version 1.1 automatically senses new client IP address assignments requiring no time zone server configuration changes. Event Logging Emprise Time Zone Client now writes an event to the application event log when it updates the time zone. Emprise Time Zone Server now writes an event to the application event log when it observes a change to the time zone. Added support for a messages DLL (ETZMessages.dll) so that event log messages are easier to decipher. Files have been renamed
Windows 9X Support - Removed taskbar icon and main form from ETZ9XClient.exe so that it runs hidden from the user's view. Installation Program - Added custom wizard image to installation program. Installation now allows for a selection of Client or Server (not both). License server installation option is exclusive. Uninstall now deletes the registry keys created during installation and execution. Server Enhancements - Emprise Time Zone Server no longer views all failed license server registration attempts as fatal. The following errors are logged, but execution is allowed to continue (license server registration is attempted again until registration is successful or a fatal error occurs): "No more connections available", "Malformed data", "Unable to connect to license server", "Multiple connections from the same IP address are not allowed". Emprise Time Zone Server no longer writes client registrations to the ETZServer.ini file. Client registrations are stored only in the registry.
