This highly skilled role requires an individual who insists on keeping up with the latest advancements in the evolving realm of web programming. A qualified candidate will have a passion for web standards, and the know-how to apply them successfully in client-side and server-side web development.
You must be able to work both individually and as part of a team on a variety of internal- and external-facing Web 2.0 applications and libraries. Your creativity, attention to detail and commitment to quality will assist in the creation of the next generation of enterprise-level predictive and preventative maintenance applications.

Emprise is constantly on the lookout for ways to apply new technologies to our ongoing government contractual obligations and generally improve our condition monitoring capabilities, tools, and methods.
Requirements

- Hands-on experience with current popular JavaScript packages such as ExtJS, Prototype, jQuery or the like.
- Experience with object-oriented JavaScript programming.
- Practical experience applying technologies like DHTML, XHTML, and CSS.
- Knowledge of browser compatibility issues when using JavaScript and CSS, and knowledge of relevant W3C standards and best practices.
- Experience with object-oriented server side languages such as Java or PHP.
- Enthusiasm about the possibilities that AJAX affords.
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent related work experience.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience with STRUTS Java framework.
- SQL Programming with procedures and views (Sybase experience a plus).
- Graphic design for the web.
- Code documentation for other developers and end-users.
